Customer thanks ERIE Agent in wake of fire

Two years ago, ERIE Customer Lisa (Levittown, PA.) experienced a devastating electrical fire in her home.
The home was a total loss.

"We lost everything-even our two dogs-except the clothes we were wearing and the purse
I was holding," explained Link. "I happened to have my Agent's (Phyllis Kotz of Kotz Associates)
business card in my purse.

"Without a doubt, that was the worst day of my life, but everything with ERIE went smooth," she continued. "After talking to Phyllis, we worked with a few different adjusters who were always just a phone call away - and that was great because we didn't know what to do next. We got money right away to buy clothes and we had a house to live in within two weeks. Everyone we spoke to was genuinely concerned."

Link was also impressed with her Agent's thoroughness and insurance advice.

"Because Phyllis encouraged us to get the replacement insurance, it made all the difference in the world," explained Link. "Some of our furniture was older, but with replacement cost coverage, everything was replaced at today's value of furniture. Without replacement cost, we would have had a very different outcome. I tell people all the time if they don't have replacement insurance they need to get it because it saved our lives. I tell everyone about Phyllis and ERIE, too."
